A lot of people have been a bit disparaging about his son's efforts to follow up on his work. I like the original LotR but have never been very interested in pursuing every possible subsequent avenue, guess i'm not a hardcore fan! 'the maid at your window...' is Hamlet, act 4 sc 5, 'their work continueth' Kipling, Stalky and co. Praise be for Google!
It will be interesting to try and decipher some sort of sensible response among the hype. I can't help but be a little sceptical ... but then it is in my nature to be.
Well they say, better late than never. He wrote the book for his son who is now 82......and it took him only 89 years to write it......sounds like my novel...haha....
Hmmmmm? I wonder if this is possibley another money making scheme? I shall not be rushing out to buy it. Will you?
