  4. A lot of people have been a bit disparaging about his son's efforts to follow up on his work.
    I like the original LotR but have never been very interested in pursuing every possible subsequent avenue, guess i'm not a hardcore fan!
    'the maid at your window...' is Hamlet, act 4 sc 5, 'their work continueth' Kipling, Stalky and co.

  7. Well they say, better late than never. He wrote the book for his son who is now 82......and it took him only 89 years to write it......sounds like my novel...haha....
