It was wonderful to see them again and they had a super holiday here. As you may see below, I kept my promises. The bluebells were right on schedule and a perfect June morning allowed me to give my daughter the (60 mile) motorcycle ride she had asked for. (With a stop for coffee and dark chocolate and ginger fridge cake at a seashore hostlery).
The house seemed very empty when we returned from Heathrow, but Rex made it pretty obvious that he was glad to see us.Until the next time, my dears.

Awww ... that is so sweet. And those bluebells - perfection! You couldn't have arranged it better. Well done you.
Oh, my gosh those bluebells are just spectacular! Sounds like you had a wonderful visit.
What larks, Pip. What larks!
Thankyou.
Despite the bluebells I see HHB is still wearing the red fleece she wore queueing for patisserie in Paris. I take it the Garden of England was less than idyllic. But then she may have been in preparation for the bike ride. The one advantage about riding pillion is you don't have to risk digital hypothermia hanging on to the handlebars.

Welcome back! Yes, early June was still somewhat chilly and HHnB brought with her a super head cold, picked up through the plane's aircon, no doubt. She very generously gave us a share in it, too.
I'm appreciate your writing style. Please keep on working hard.^^
You must have enjoyed your holidays a lot. You two are lovely to look at.
